 Vince Clingenpeel is the president and principle inspector at Clingenpeel Properties. He has spent 36 years in the building
trades as a bricklayer, a carpenter, a cabinetmaker and a remodeling contractor. He enjoys anything outdoors. Camping, fishing,
golf, and hunting are among the passions in his life. These pursuits are second only to his wife and two daughters. He is
a life long resident of the Northern Virginia area, being born at Arlington Hospital, (Virginia Hospital Center), and currently
resides in Falls Church. His father Gene Clingenpeel founded Clingenpeel Properties Inc. in 1954 as a masonry business.
After a two-year excursion at The University of Virginia to study Architecture Vince went to work for his Dad. He spent six
years as a bricklayer before becoming an apprentice for a second time and learning the carpentry trade. After rejoining the
family business and securing a Class A license the company changed direction into the remodeling business. This led to twenty-five
years finding, diagnosing, and repairing defects in hundreds of homes. Vince became knowledgeable of the other trades (plumbing,
electrical, HVAC and roofing etc.). Joining the gold standard of inspection associations, ASHI (American Society
of Home Inspectors) was a natural fit for Clingenpeel Properties. The same standards of professionalism, integrity and honesty
have been a hallmark of the company for over 50 years. Homeowners, buyers, sellers and real estate agents will
